In a recent strategic move, Walmart announced a partnership with Burger King that promises enticing perks for subscribers to its Walmart+ service. Starting in September, members will receive a 25% discount on all orders placed through the Burger King app and a free Grilled Whopper every three months with any purchase, as detailed in the latest press release.

The partnership aims to provide significant savings to Walmart+ members, which is especially appealing during a time when affordable options are in high demand. “We’re excited to bring more value to our customers and are delighted to be working with Burger King, a brand our customers trust,” said Venessa Yates, senior vice president and general manager of Walmart.

The Walmart+ program, priced at $12.95 a month or $98 a year, already offers perks like free shipping and delivery on Walmart purchases. The addition of Burger King to the Walmart+ roster follows last year’s introduction of a free streaming service through a partnership with Global Paramount, which offers an ad-supported plan on Paramount+ to its members.

Pat O’Toole, director of marketing for Burger King North America, expressed excitement about becoming the first restaurant to partner with the Walmart+ program. “We look forward to offering Walmart+ members even more opportunities to save on their favorite Burger King dishes,” he said.
